10K08 - is Jason's voluntary ten thousand dollar spending cap for the general election in November. We want to return our American elections to the grassroots level and move away from the corrupting influence of corporations, special interest, and wealthy private donors. Given the state of the economy, we should be more concerned with addressing the issues of our people than with how much money we can waste on political donations to buy our representatives in Congress instead of electing them. While other campaigns are raising hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars in special interest money we want to let you put your two cents in as a real voter instead of cutting back-room deals with the political machine.
